We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach music. You should have an interest in developing the learning environment for the school's students.

In your work, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving music education. The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching based on all students' levels, your assessment of the individual student, and with a focus on the student's best interests. You work towards an accessible school environment where alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment built on mutual respect and collaboration that stimulates students to learn and take responsibility. You have good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You easily build relationships and are comfortable collaborating with students, guardians, and school staff.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers, and you have the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge. In a systematic way, you reflect on practical work, and together with colleagues, you drive development work and take joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development. You will be part of one of the school's teams for collaboration and support.

The tasks consist of teaching music to students in grades 5 to 9. From grade 6, students are offered instrumental instruction, individually or in small groups, which is included in the position. The work also involves being a mentor for a class together with a colleague.
